Made with my Psalm Name-Labels

Here is an example of a gift I made for a friend recently using my 'Psalm Name-Labels'. It is a gorgeous set of three vests for a newborn. The verses on top are from psalm 139 which inspired the name labels.

If you have some of my name labels please send me photos of what you do with them. I'd love to see your projects and put them up on the blog to give other people ideas. Happy creating!
Psalm Name-Labels are on sale at the various art fairs Trigger Editions visits or can be ordered by e-mailing Sarah J Trigg directly.

Solihull Book Art Fair

Today I've been collecting more contributions to my 'Unsaid Words' project in Solihull. Thanks to everyone who wrote something for me.

Soon I'll be launching a poetry competition inspired by my growing collection of 'unsaid words' (things you wish you had said or forgot to say). The plan is to print and publish a limited edition book of poems to be sold alongside the books of amalgamated pages of viewers contributions. So watch this space for details.

Documenting

If you have some of my Psalm Name-labels or 'I found this and thought of you envelopes' please do send me some pictures of what you do with them. When I launch my new web-site I will have pages dedicated to showing how these project works have developed so I really need your pictures to get things started.

If you'd like to know more about these new works please visit Sarah J Triggs news page where they will soon be featured.

Library Dust

Sarah J Trigg's first set of Library Dust books has come back for the bookbinders emboss with beautiful gold text on the front covers. They look fantastic, this picture really doesn't do them justice.

The text excerpts (which read 'Nothing has been less historical or less true', 'the produce of the civilised world', We are living in another world', 'the significance of this', and 'we were told long ago') come from somewhere inside each book, and can be found if you search hard enough inside the framed page under all the library dust.

Open Studio Exhibition

This weekend I've had all my new prototypes on show at my Open Studio exhibition in Spike Island, Bristol. I've collected masses of great feed-back so I should be able to go to print with my first collection of books in the next few months - exciting!

I've also started collaborating with different artists and hope to show their work here soon. Watch this space to see how you can get hold of our first limited edition books. Get in touch if you would like to be involved.
