These titles and others are due this week to become the new raw material for my next artistbook project. I've been collecting withdrawn university library books for years and now I have a collection of fascinating titles. Previously I've made beautiful 'Library Dust Paper' from whatever books I could get my hands on and then turned it into limited edition art objects.
Now I want to be more deliberate and make a separate batch of paper from each of these different titles.
I have a new blender ready and waiting!
For this next project I'm planning to collaborate with other artist/librarians. I'm really excited to see how this one develops.
